Support the City of Brandon during emergency situations by volunteering at the Emergency Social Services Reception Centre. This is an as needed opportunity that activates when emergencies happen, so specific dates and times are not known in advance. Volunteers help welcome and support people who are distressed or evacuated, share information about local services, help with basic documentation and reporting, and assist with practical coordination like transportation needs and distributing supplies when required. Volunteers need to be able to commit at least three hours at a time and be comfortable supporting people in sensitive situations.
